Royal Boat Charter & Tours started with one pontoon and a simple idea: everyone deserves a great day on Lake Pleasant — no boat ownership required.
Our story
We're a family-run crew based in Peoria, Arizona — just up the road from Pleasant Harbor Marina. Since 2015 we've been running speed boat and pontoon tours on Lake Pleasant, and today the fleet has grown to six boats.
Every single trip goes out with one of our licensed captains at the wheel. We handle the fuel, the ice, the floats, and the route — you handle the sunscreen and the snacks. That's the whole deal.

Our lake
Lake Pleasant sits in the Sonoran Desert northwest of Phoenix — 10,000 acres of blue water framed by the Hieroglyphic Mountains. It's got the widest spread of spots in central Arizona, and we run it every day.
Our captains know exactly where the water is glassy at dawn, which cove is shaded by four o'clock, and where the sunset lines are best. That knowledge is part of every tour.
